Amazon’s Prime Day, the company’s annual sales event, which is now the largest, will be held this year on July 16th and will have more than a million offers, and it’s coming up pretty soon. A big change this time is the duration of the event. Last year, the Prime Day lasted 30 hours, but this year’s event will last 36 hours. In addition to being the first longest day to date, the event will also expand on new markets this year, Amazon says.
Australia, Singapore, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg will join the other Prime Day host countries this year, which includes the United States. United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Mexico, Japan, India, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, and Austria.
As in previous years, Amazon promotes offers in product categories, such as televisions, smart homes, kitchens, supermarkets, toys, fashion, furniture, appliances, back-to-school supplies and everyday objects.
Members of Amazon Prime can buy deals on furniture, TVs, smart home, kitchen, supermarket, toys, fashion, home appliances and back-to-school supplies. This year, Prime Day will have twice as many offers on Amazon devices.
Jeff Wilke, Amazon CEO Worldwide Consumer, said:
“Prime members will enjoy a day (and a half) of our best deals, with 36 hours to shop more than one million deals worldwide. New this year, members can shop exclusive Prime Day Launches from hundreds of brands worldwide, enjoy exclusive savings at Whole Foods Market and experience surprise entertainment events unboxed from giant Smile boxes in major cities. More than 100 million paid Prime members around the world will find our best Prime Day celebration yet.”
Before Prime Day, giant smile boxes will be sent to New York City, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, and Milan, which will open to reveal the Amazon event, in recognition of the benefits of Prime membership, including music, videos, games and more.
Also new this year, hundreds of recognized and emerging brands around the world cancel new exclusive products, content and special edition products available only to Prime members for a limited time, including the voice-activated Delta Trinsic Touch2O faucet; Coleman RoadTrip LXE portable propane grill; Fingerlings Light Up Unicorn Mackenzie; and the Moto G6 64GB, an exclusive version of the Android smartphone.
Prime Day began as a way to attract more consumers to sign up for the annual Amazon Prime program, which now has over 100 million paid members. However, due to the many offers available, it has also become a sales event that surpasses Black Friday, Cyber Monday and other sales holidays for Amazon. Prime Day 2017, for example, was the biggest sales day in Amazon’s history, 60% more than the previous year.
With Amazon doubling the event this time, with even more device offerings, Whole Foods offers, market expansions and more hours, it’s likely to break records again.
Tips to make the best out of this year’s Amazon Prime Day
Before the main day, there are some things you can do to make the most of the biggest shopping day of the year.
Prepare your inventory
The success of Prime Day has a major obstacle: the management of stocks. Many sellers are starting to see an increase in sales around this event, and while it might be a great time to eliminate excess stocks, it can also lead to some unwanted debts.
If you plan to make any kind of agreements, discount or promotion of Lightning, make sure you are prepared for those additional sales.
And, if this is your first day of the first day and you do not have last year’s numbers to help you manage your inventory, here are some tips that might be useful:
Consider ordering your inventory earlier than usual, just to be sure. Take the next shipment to the ocean.
Consider having an additional inventory with your cargo agent. This can often be cheaper than Amazon’s storage costs and also means that your inventory will already be in the sales country, so you can send it to the FBA center faster.
Having the best possible list
The most important factors in a customer when you click from the results page to the product page is an impeccable list. This means ensuring that the image, the title, and the price are all on point.
Clearing out your old inventory
If you are using the right search strategies, you will greatly reduce the chances of choosing a product that is badly sold or that is dominated by the competition immediately. Of course, these things still happen. And when they do, they are loaded with a stack of products that accumulate deposit fees in Amazon stores.
The answer? Download it on Prime Day. Offer an incredible deal on the products you want to sell quickly. Customers are so hungry for offers, they are more likely to come in and get them. You can not earn what you mean, but it will save you the highest taxes over time.
Grow your customers’ review
The more customers you have, the more likely you are to receive comments, simply and clearly. Reviews are an essential part of the next generation of sales because they offer new customers the proof that their product is for sale and customers like it (assuming their reviews are good, of course).
Use a tool like Jump Send to track customers after purchase and encourage them to review and review your product to get the most out of their Prime Day efforts.
Increase your sales speed
Amazon wants to show the products that customers are buying. The faster your products come out of your shelves, the better your search position will be. A day like Prime Day can be a big boost for your business, especially if it offers a discount to which customers respond.
